Paul Pogba will definitely miss the World Cup in Qatar next month, his agent Rafaela Pimenta has confirmed.

Pogba injured his knee during the summer preparations, so he had to undergo an operation. He returned to training in recent weeks and was expected to return to the field soon.

However, the Frenchman suffered a new injury today, so his manager officially confirmed that Pogba will miss the World Cup.

“After the medical examinations today it is difficult for me to confirm that Paul Pogba needs to continue his rehabilitation after the operation and will not be able to play at the World Cup,” the statement said.
