The Barcelona footballer, Gerard Pique, can never get out of the spotlight of the Spanish and world public.
Unfortunately, he is not current because of football, but works from his private life. First he broke up with Shakira, with whom he has two children, and now he is the main news in the media in Spain because of the property, worth 20 million euros, which he bought recently with the intention of building a luxury hotel.
A tomb with as many as 250 graves was found on the land, and no one knows from which period they come.
“We discovered 250 graves, most of which were empty. Perhaps they were never used, nor valuable enough to be preserved. This is one of the largest necropolises in the country,” said the Spanish archaeologist Alberto Cumpián.
It is uncertain whether Pique will stick to his plan to build a hotel as the plot is currently barred from any construction activities while investigations are ongoing.
