Lionel Messi is expected to leave Paris in the summer of 2023. The Argentine’s contract with the PSG club expires and it seems that the “flea” has no intention of renewing it, while a scenario that has recently gained a lot of quotes is the transfer of Messi in the American MLS at Inter Miami, a club owned by David Beckham.
According to The Athletic, the 35-year-old has started the first talks with Beckham about the possibility of moving to America, while Messi’s representatives have been in talks with those of the Inter Miami club for months. Jorge and Jose Mas, who are co-owners of Inter Miami together with Beckham, have even met Messi’s father, Jorge.
In fact, the meetings between the parties have been held in total secrecy and have apparently turned out to be positive. Thus, despite the rumors about a return to Barcelona, the offer and life in America are “enticing” Messi more and more every day to enjoy a quiet “west” of his career, while the Argentine is not convinced even by the renewal with PSG.
