Samuel Eto’o did not use diplomacy at all when asked about Thierry Henry. In a recently published video, the Cameroonian emphasized that the Frenchman was a very good player, but he does not compare him at all to himself, who places him much higher than the former Arsenal player, while adding that he prefers Nicolas Anelka more.
“To be honest, I think Thierry Henry was not a player at the level of Nicolas Anelka. I’m not saying Henry wasn’t good, he was a pretty good player, but I prefer others over him. There is no chance that Henry was at my level,” said Eto’o.
Eto’o and Henry spent two seasons together in the ranks of Barcelona, however, it seems that the Cameroonian was not impressed by the Frenchman in matches or in training with the Catalans.
